Counterparty verification

Before we can proceed to signature on a Lariat-brokered acquisition, we are required to verify the identity of the acquiring party and screen them against international sanctions and adverse-media lists. The check runs on your phone and takes about five minutes. It is carried out by Didit, an independent identity-verification provider, so your documents go directly to them and never pass through email. Lariat receives only the resulting compliance report, which is annexed to the share purchase agreement.
